At DLP Realty, we are focused and determined to do everything we can to give back to our communities. With all of the uncertainties that occurred last year, especially throughout our schools and education as a whole, DLP Realty is taking this opportunity to prepare school-aged kids throughout the Lehigh Valley with backpacks filled with swag, while providing a fun-filled family event for the whole community.

WHAT THE CURRENT RECORD IS & WHAT WE ARE LOOKING TO BREAK
On Saturday, August 7, 2021, we are partnering with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and other local businesses for a DLP Gives Back-Packs event! The fun begins at 2 p.m., as we set out to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ attempt for “Longest Line of Backpacks!” The previous record of 3,318 backpacks was attained in September 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. DLP Realty wants to achieve a new record and put the Lehigh Valley in the record books! We will look to break the record with 4,400 “Backpacks in a Line” and donate each and every backpack to children throughout the Lehigh Valley.

In order to break the current world record, we would like to make sure all of the backpacks are filled ahead of time with an abundance of swag for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. With the help and assistance of generous people like you, we can make this an event to remember and it is why I’m reaching out to you, today. We are looking for sponsors to help us make this extraordinary event a success. There are plenty of ways that you can be involved. Monetary donations to help cover general expenses including; . With all of the uncertainties that occurred last year, especially throughout our schools and education as a whole, DLP Realty is taking this opportunity to prepare school-aged kids throughout the Lehigh Valley with backpacks filled with swag, while providing a fun-filled family event for the whole community.
We would like to take this opportunity to offer these back-to-school backpacks to children involved in your charity organization. Additionally, we would like to invite them, along with adults from your organization to the IronPigs game taking place later that day. BECOME A VOLUNTEER
It takes an entire community to put on an event like this and we are looking for volunteers in the Lehigh Valley area that want to be a part of this great event while we look to break a world record with YOUR help! We are looking for anyone that needs volunteer hours for National Honor Society clubs, Bright Future Scholarships, team members wanting to give back, companies who would like to give back to the community. Whoever you are if you like to give back and have fun while doing we WANT YOU!

What is a kids event without a color contest? We’ve partnered with some great sponsors to bring you the DLP Gives Back-Packs Color Contest! There will be 2 winners in each age group and the winners will be announced during the event. Or two top winners’ pages will be featured on the big screen at the IronPigs Game! So get those crayons out and start coloring!
